But for the here and now, disregarding the age difference, would you still pick KS?

No but age is taken into account. If they were both transferred, KS would go for more money than Green.

Would you take Carroll over benayoun if you could sign just one of them?

Interesting question - the scenario isn't quite the same as with Green and KS; goalkeepers often have longer careers. Green's only 33/4, which probably means he got another few years left. The situation is a bit different for outfield players, where age becomes a factor earlier.

There are other issues to consider as well: YB has been without a club for a while.

Overall, I would have to pick Carroll; but I don't think the two scenarios are directly comparable.

I think they are but I was just making a clearer case to get my point across.

I would still like a better keeper in the PL if we get there and I'm not sure if green will be with us as I think his contract is up in the summer.

Absolutely, one thing that wouldn't be concerned about.

Grifter, I think your starting post with who you'd prefer is completely bias .................. and I'm liking it!
I wouldn't change anyone, all I want is for the team to continue getting better playing as a group ................. that way, even a lessor player get brought up to the level of the playing group.

On paper you will have the better team. But then again if football was played on paper you wouldnt have embarrased yourself last season

If you think we are crap and your whole team is better then your playing into our hands

No one thinks your team is crap. They're evidently very good and are equitable to ours on what matters - points. Should be a cracking game.

Your attacking play is better than ours our defending is better than yours.
I like the look of Knockaert he'll give BAE plenty of problems. Should be a good match, best 2 teams in the division imo.
Ps don't listen to flyer, it's been decided he knows less than fck all about football!!

Martyn Waghorn is back from his loan to Millwall, and could feature tomorrow.
I agree with Henry James V Knockaert, he looks very tricky. Doesn't do a lot of defensive work though, so if he starts we can get at them down that flank.

I think the Championship race will be between QPR, Leicester and Derby.

FFS the question is which players would you have in the game tomorrow not their potential value in the transfer market <doh>

Its a pity you didn't choose dominoes or model aeroplanes when your Shrink told you to go out and get a hobby in 2010. It can be a real chore having to sift through your uninformed gibberish on here Flyer, it really can.

Are these home grown players? There's a law in W12 which says anyone who comes up through the QPR youth system has to be loaned out before he gets his 15 minute subs appearance then loaned out again and eventually sold. So we can make room for some blokes with premier league experience and tiny, tiny hearts.

Well thats a bit harsh, Dunne and Hill have hearts the size of shire horses, but you get my drift.

I watched Leicester V Burnley and they played some nice football/
Nugent was a waste & didnt even hear the Klocky guys name...
they have no-ione who can control Barton/ krnky & Jeanus but do play good possesion football

I didnt see anything for BAE to be worried about as he's played at half pace all season so far.

We cant play Hill & Dunne against them so we need Ned back in with either Hill or Dunne. My preference would be Dunne

@ quite evenly matched sides so far this season but being unbiased, id still back us to go up over them based purely on depth of the squad.

BUT, we need to beat those around us to stamp our intent on this league. We were humbled by Burnley & seem to have learnt from it.
Im not to bothered by the score TBH but a win would be fantastic.

Remember, sometimes you lose the battle but win the war. <ok>

Also have to be honest. Im not a fan of Green and like the look of KS..even if he is living on his fathers name.
    I think he's a good keeper

Wes Morgan is club captain signed from Forest - Liam is a local lad come up through the ranks and recently elevated to England U-21s - could well be a star in years to come ...

I read a post saying that BAE makes sandwiches before the game and puts them in his shorts pockets

Apparently its so the visiting right winger has something to eat whilst he's in there....!

    Hope Klocky is hungry !<laugh>
