I can't do links but seems Vincent Tan has told Malky Mackay he either resigns or will be sacked. Anyone who slates our owners really needs to look at what's going on over there and see what we could of been. At least Tony admits his mistakes and tries to show us, the fans, some consideration. The Circus that we once were has definitely moved on. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25457024
If that happens he would be a good choice for the Spurs job, he has done decent jobs at both Watford & Cardiff and is probably ready for a bigger challenge. He is one of the best British managers around at the moment....
Here's the BBC link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25457024 He'll probably have his daughter's boyfriend managing them...
Just applying for a work experience role at cardiff now... the last bloke got a job.... In all seriousness though how can this Tan dude pass the fit and proper test when he is potnetially breaking employment laws...
Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers 'astonished' at Malky Mackay criticism at Cardiff http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25444400
Not bothered par se with Cardiff mate, but good for us all to realise how lucky we are to have Tony and all in charge.
This! Was just watching SSN and had exactly the same thought. Even Tango n Cash weren't as f**ked up as Tan.
Foreign ownership can be a good thing ( TF with our club ) but as witnessed, you have the downside ( were talking rock bottom ) ... with the likes of Blackburn, Cardiff, Birmingham, Portsmouth and looks like Hull are doing their best to shaft their fans. I say .........Gotta love the Fernandes, the Fernandas is good, I like good, good is good, how could you not like the Fernandas, everybody loves the Fernandas.................. and he's Ours! We are QPR ! We are One!
I have been critical of TF in the past, and I am still not 100% sold on him yet (as in, what is his motivation for doing what he is doing and long-term goal), but I do appreciate he is not Tan or Allem or even remotely anywhere near their level of stupidity. TF does appear to be trying to do the right thing by the club and supporters, and for that I will give him a greater degree of credit than I was giving him just 12 months ago
I wouldn't even lump ours in with the foreign owners, one of our them has lived in Hull his entire life, the other (his father) for over 40 years. The problem is the older one is mental. I can't wait for the press to finally pick up on the fact that he's not doing it to follow a marketing theory, he's doing it to get rid of City from our name because he's fallen out with Hull City Council and doesn't want them basking in our glory when we do well (he has actually said that in an interview with local media). As far as Cardiff go, how many people can overspend their budget by 40%, then complain to the press that they want more money to be given to them to correct the mistakes they made, knowing that by making the request in a seemingly innocuous way that when the boss refuses it will make the boss the villain if things don't work out, and then not expect their bosses to be kicking off about it?
I say .........Gotta love the Fernandes, the Fernandas is good, I like good, good is good, how could you not like the Fernandas, everybody loves the Fernandas.................. and he's Ours! We are QPR ! We are One! This, can't believe this news, I completly agree that we are so lucky as fans to have uncle ton
All West Brom need to do is wait for Tan to sack him and they'll pick up one of the best young managers out there. Tan really must be some kind of knobhead...
Agreed but what I don't understand is how the proposed new manager could contemplate working for such a imbecile as Tan. He will be death-ridden like MM and that can only hurt his CV ............. It can only end in one circumstance or maybe I'm missing something.
Where do we start? Ian Dowie, Paulo Sousa, Jim Magilton, Paul Hart etc etc. Basically any football manager would because of the salary and their own vain inner belief that they are the ones who can do it and won't tolerate any interference from the boardroom. I excluded Neil Warnock from that list of illustrious names because he was signed up by Bhatia after the Mittals put their foot down and told Briatore to shut up and be quiet. Money and vanity are the two greatest seducers. At least in football. An interesting thought to end on is that Warnock said that he had hoped the club would replace him eventually with Mackay
