After another defeat to Manchester United last night I am beginning to wonder when we will next beat them and it is annoying me. We were just 12mins away from winning at OT recently but it is a long time since we last came out on top. In the old days I remember Stoke winning at OT (1976 I think) when Alan Bloor scored in a 1-0 win. I also remember wins at home in the FA Cup and League Cup in the early 70s. And didn't we beat them in the League Cup when Mark Stein starred and MH was playing for them. There are maybe other occasions during my time but certainly not for a while now.

With SAF now gone I was hoping we may have more of a chance. It will delight me no end to beat them again but they always seem to have the edge don't they.

Both goals scored within seconds of both substitutions. Bad timing the first one in defending a set piece and the second one forced because of Shawcross injury and not giving the back 4 time to adjust. I felt like we were going to get something last night as without Rooney and VP they looked barren up front.

Freezing cold and wet through, reminded me of the Sunderland game 2 sesons ago :-(

I got absolutely soaked through as well just getting from cab into the ground!

I thought the players completely lost concentration on both occasions and there seemed confusion as to who was to play right back and centre half when Shawcross was subbed!

I was on the second row, I got absolutely soaked as for some reason the roof doesnt cover the first 3 rows, I though the first half was very poor from both tesms but I thought we played better second half

    I believe so! :)
We nearly beat them away at Old Trafford and we have are making the Brit a fortress again, plus we beat Chelsea at home.
