    only 12,000 petitions against the name change in a population of over 7 billion isnt a lot really

    Snickers remained snickers in the US (the home market) throughout the time they were sold in the UK as Marathon. Once Mars had enough confidence in selling their product in the UK, a foreign market, they reverted back to its true name. A bit like Hull City remaining Hull City in the UK and being promoted as The Tigers or Hull Tigers in Asia.

    Why would the players mind the name change? They will still be expected to work as they already do and they will continue to be paid, as they already are. There will be NO no difference for the players bar the company name on their payslip.

    Lets be honest if footballers are getting paid a lot of money and there still getting the money why would they care?

    Yeah, we've already been over that. They are currently paid by Hull City Tigers Ltd, and still would be if the "Playing Name" changed. Apparently.
