Has something ever upset so much that you can't cry or react emotionally to it?

the only shock thing ive experienced is when my uncle died. first big loss to me in my family when i was like 15. didn't react much until his funeral about 10-14 days later, when i wept.
it's shock, y'know. people react different. if tash wanted to confide in us rather than anyone else, i respect that. obviously he feels he can talk to us. not as if much conversation was happening anyway. i'd rather tell you lot stuff than the ****ers on facebook.
i'd probably speak to my closest mates first obviously. and even then i like to keep a lot of things personal so probably wouldn't tell anyway but y'know. each to their own.

    hope she's okay tash <ok>

and much sympathy towards blackcatsteve too. awfully sad story. unimaginable.

My Daughter had a bad accident breaking the hip when she was a kid and yes I cried not ashamed to say it.

analysing is what i do, i analyse what people do and why they do it.

    who is a "stranger"

a stranger is a human being, a person, a singular physical embodiment of conciousness

this man feels pain and reaches out to other humans, other points of conciousness

in the cold brisk reality of the low vibrational state we call "normal life" the man is only a man, we are all merely human, no matter how much strife i will never be better than you but you will never be better than me.

in other realms, none of us are human and we are no longer strangers.

Wey if its just her back I'm sure she'll be okay, though it will hurt. Fair do's it is upsetting but if it upset you that much you wouldn't be talking about it on an internet forum.

**** me some of you need to have a little think like!

If this is the first place Tash comes to ask a question or get some advise, you genuinely think offering unnecessarily harsh comments is the ideal way to react? Aye this is primarily a football forum but if tactics and signings is all you want to talk about then its quite clearly not the place for you!

    Anyway Tash...
Chappaz and AB have it exactly right, there's other places that in the future you might want to look at first, but regardless if your head was a bit mangled from it then sometimes it's better to just talk and get it out.

Found out my gran had cancer (already lost both grandparents from my Mam's side to it as well) and I just felt a bit numb - doesn't make you a bad person or show you lack any emotional connection or anything. Sometimes that's just the way it goes!

Black Cat Steve, that's awful! A friend of mine is expecting his 2nd, but they suffered 6 miscarriages at various stages of pregnancy before they had their first. Can't even begin to understand how you must feel but all I can do is wish you both well!

Aye I know exactly what you mean Tash, when I was younger two policemen had to tell me that my dad had unexpectedly died. I just sat there looking at them for about half an hour. Its just the shock of what has happened
Eventually it all sinks in and you'll be fine mate <ok>
I dont mind these off topic articles , it certainly breaks up the monotony of all the transfer threads.

Dont know how anyone can give tash abuse on a thread like this, just goes to show that there are some real twats on this board. If anyone else had posted this there wouldn't be one comment about it being off topic.
Hope your mum gets better mate <ok>

    Dear Deidre,

I'm currently in despair with the behaviour of my husband Gerry.

Having not really been particularly intimate with each other for some years now, over the the last few weeks he has developed an insatiable desire to enter me from behind. You may think that this is a positive development in our somewhat stagnant sexual relationship, however he doesn't contain his lust to the confines of our bedroom.
Last week he attempted to mount me whilst I was bending over the frozen food section in Tesco, again when I bent over to pick my purse up off the floor at the check out after dropping it, and to cap my embarrassment he had another go as I was putting the shopping in the boot of the car.

There appears to be no place or indeed situation which is safe from this 'animalistic behaviour', please, please can you offer some guidance as I have literally have run out of places where he won't attempt it again.

    Kind regards.

    Mavis.

PS.....Please excuse the shaky hand writing.

Sorry to be so up front about it but, Jesus on a FOOTBALL Message thread! Tell your mam how you feel mate, instead of sharing it with people you've never seen!

No. But then again I'm far more emotionally apathetic than normal. Just be thankful she's most likely going to be fine, I've got the man who was effectively my granddad's funeral today.

Glad to hear she's better and that you're alright as well. But people do have a point when they say toughen up a bit because there's some really awful **** a lot of people end up experiencing and god knows how badly you'd take it if you go emotionally numb over this sort of incident.

    Ah. Morphine.

How I miss that... Busted my knee many, many years ago and was in traction for a few weeks. They gave me morphine as a pain killer and by Christ; it's brilliant stuff.

Only absinthe can match it's effects.

It's a football forum..not a church meeting. He has no mates, so he clogs up this site with his bullshit constantly. Sorry about your mum, but I really don't care unless it's my mom. <ok>
