positivity is whats changed. he looks like he wants to attack and go by people and make the runs too. the nice thing about the suarez frenzy is players like henderson sterling and even allen can go their thing and feel good, his goals lets them all relax and play thus getting boost of confidence and play even better. when our backs are against the wall away in the next few games (has to happen sometime in the games) the players should know that if the just get it to suarez something can happen. Sterling has made the runs confident suarez might find him in that right channel.. result is goals.
Anyone else notice that Sterling plays very well when covering LB? He's actually a decent little tackler. Add a bit more experience and intelligence he can become a RB's dream partner.
Giggs is and was ****e. I remember Rob Jones coming into the team from Crewe - 72 hours prep and stuck Giggs in his pocket. The Welsh rutter didn't get a kick. In fact he never got a kick against Jones ever.
I've been hugely critical of Sterling recently but I'm glad to see him rediscovering his confidence. Long may it continue.
We all knew he was capable of it after the way he burst onto the scene but I can't see many having expected it now. I think Suarez being on fire is raising the other players games too.
We all know Skrtel is capable of becoming a top quality CB even though he tends to tug on a few shirts now and then.
Sterling & Suarez should be your S&S. both of them are very dangerous. Hendo is a revelation and good for the country too..
Do we really need to go for Salah, Personally i don't think we need to. Would only hamper his progress i think the Chelsea and City games would be huge for him. If he could convince BR he's up for the big games then i don't see why we would need to bring in another winger. Not to forget, there's also the hugely talented Ibe waiting. We could rather use the money to get an RB/LB, a position we could really improve on.
With what I've heard about this Salah, I'd rather use Sterling and get Assaidi back. there must be better options available somewhere, especially if we get CL football (unless we're talking about January)
We dont even use wingers. To accommodate Salah our whole game plan would need to be changed and one of Moses/Sterling would have to play on the other wing. That means Sturridge and Coutinho would sit out (given that we would need some backbone in midfield). Sterling is being played as a striker and is succeeding. This could prolong his pace and acceleration as well.
From the video of his goals I have seen (obviously making me an expert), he goes down the middle a lot. Maybe he is a "winger" by virtue of having a lot of pace and a tricky touch. #inbrendanitrust
