For me I think this Kid is brilliant. We will be screwed if Swansea recall him in January. He is the first decent midfielder we have had in a long time.
On 31 August 2013, Ki Sung-Yueng joined Sunderland on a season-long loan with a mid-season re-call option Maybe the only way we'll keep him is if we buy him in January. Swansea might threaten to recall him to force our hand....................we'll soon see.
If they would sell him I think we will buy him no problem and the lad has emerged as a key player in our midfield. He suits Poyets style of play better than Swansea have used him and glues our midfield together. I was sceptical on his arrival but he has won me over on the pitch totally. Cracking footballer.
I kind of hope they do - I'd love to see this lad as a permanent signing. Great on the ball and has a very good eye for a pass. Him and Cattermole in midfield are awesome as a twosome.
They have an option to recall before a certain date in January. If they do not recall him then he's ours till the end of the season. Still should be permanent though - if he is left here in January then, as long as we stay up, he must be bought in the summer
No brainer, Number one target in the summer. Let's hope laudrup doesn't leave for spurs otherwise it could make signing Ki very tough.
Even before last night goal it was obvious to everyone what a quality footballer this kid is, number one priority to get him made permanent, whether in January or the Summer. This guy makes us tick and we need him. There's not many who play like he does so finding a replacement would be almost impossible. Break the bank I say, he's worth it.
Simply have to buy this guy, he balances the team like nobody I've seen in the red and white for many a year. Maybe not a Henderson and the promise he has now but in the same mould, box to box and link player, for a lot less money too, he would get in my team every week.
I can see him stopping here on loan for the rest of the season. Cant see us buying him somehow! Cant see us throwing the money at him when our Premier League status is under threat! And for the same reason, who is to say he will want to sign for us permanently!? Can Swansea call him back in January and sell him to somebody else who are not struggling? A more attractive club for the player? If so then that is a strong possibility!
i think he should be one of our main january targets. we have had problems trying to sign the players we have had on loan permanant deals, just loak at danny rose and johnny evans. he could have an even better second half of the season and alert other clubs or prove his worth to swansea. sign him now and get it over with
