Some of you are whinging like its your own money. If Ashley is prepared to fund the signing of a world class striker you should be jumping for f****** joy. Im telling you, we aint getting 20mil out of Ashley and Mario Gomez is in a different world to NUFC. We wouldnt even be deluded enough to make a bid!

If he was, Pie Boy wouldn't cough up that much money.

20m is worth it iv watched him a lot and hes been amazing this year he would easily score in the prem hes better than berbatov et. That said there is noway hes coming here hes been linked with every big club out there madrid, man city, man u and chelsea there is noway wed get him for 20m he would need a huge wage like 80-100k aswell. Makes us look ambitious though which is nice! Id rather hav a younger player on a cheaper wage though. I suppose with gomez you know what your getting and hes proven at every level. Cant make up my mind wether its worth 20m on just one player that surely will be our whole summer budget.
