The Lads confidence should be sky high going into the Norwich game. I have a good feeling about the weekend
I picked a good game as my first of thr season, 250 miles drive but well worth it. I got to say the turning point in the game was the streaker that ran on the pitch at about 65 mins. The crowd was flat but the lad evaded several stewards and it really got the crowd going. A couple of inspired subs later and we looked much the better side. Catts had been terrible for the first half but as soon as Ki came on he looked a much better player. Borini was different class too along with Giacc and Brown these were our 4 (Ki, Giacc, Brown & Borini) are our best player's and we must build a side around them. Anyway I am sat in thr black cats bar toasting the win with a pint. HAWAY the lads
Cheers mate, really pleased for everyone at the match tonight My last match was Chelsea in the league and I have to say that there's very little wrong with the team. We've now scored 5 in two games against them so we can't be that bad can we?
great result and hopefully the start of something special for the rest of the season, it is truly amazing how we came back from looking dead and buried at the start of the second half and all credit most go to the players and the manager who made all the correct decisions when under pressure, it is some time since we have been able to say this and it feels great.
Aye, but factor in how many goals we have scored against/ for Chelsea vs how many count for us in our last two games. Scary stat.
Who was the bloke who ran on the pitch !, he must have been on drugs it must have been -2 degrees were I was sitting and I was wrapped up, the stewards took along time to get him as well. As for the match we got of jail tonight, and our Chelsea bogey continues in the cup !, Spurs/Stoke please in the semi final draw, unless we can beat Man c 6-0 at home in one of the legs. I finally feel happy for the 2nd time this season. By god I want to go to the new Wembley I will sell anything to be there to see the lads win our first trophy in 41 years. Is Gus the new Bob stoke ?.
Errr nah, I'd rather just celebrate the fact we're in a semi-final and look forward to beating Norwich. Thanks all the same
I'm not 'not' celebrating, it's just a shame we lost the league game due to an OG and we could have win this one in ordinary time if it were not for another OG. I'm over the frikkin moon mate, but slightly frustrated with our own negative scoring.
If we'd not scored against Chelsea, in the league, and saved one each for Villa and West Ham we'd be ****ing flying now Never mind mate, we'll batter Norwich and be safe in the New Year
