Although he won't for fill our immediate needs, Jazz a natural successor in a couple of years,? . Taylor isn't back to his pre injury best yet but he atm must be a better option than Dwight .He's certainly a better defender
Really? Finding a player that can cross is a priority, we throwing away goal scoring opportunities because we don't have a natural crosser at our club.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25391722 Ruptured ligament with damage to 2 further ligaments. Anybody had experience of this kind of injury and care to shed some light on what this means?
Well any good manager would have sorted it out months ago. you can see it, I can see it and laudrup thinks its not a problem...says it all really...
T'is a shame. How many more chances would we have had 'on goal'? I am just thinking that if only 5%-10% went in it could be a goal every game or so, or maybe every 1.5 games, because we seem to make loads of crosses.
Agreed Project. Especially with the added threat of Bony in the air this season alongside Michu. If we can get 6-7 decent crosses in per game, I'd expect Michu or Bony to stick one in the back of the net. Hopefully now with the EL on the back burner for a few months we will get to see these two playing together more.
I wouldn't want Adam Johnson - he seems to have a massive chip on his shoulder to me - thinks he's way better than he is. I'm not impressed with Cañas, Pablo and Tiendalli the most -any of those could be improved on.....and I'd like Ki back - still baffled why we let hm go.
An ankle ligament rupture means that the ligament ends are no longer in continuity so the ligament cannot stabilise its joint. This is a far less common occurrence. It should be appreciated that the lateral ankle ligamentus complex is not the only things which stabilises the ankle joint. The ankle joint is also stabilised by the stability of its bony margins as well as the neighbouring peroneal tendons. It is possible that after a complete rupture the ankle ligaments will heal themselves back into a stable configuration and not leave problems with instability. It is also possible that if they are not able to heal in stable position by training the peroneal muscles appropriately the ankle joint may once again become stable. This is the basis of physiotherapy functional rehabilitation after an ankle ligament injury. Potentially there's a strong chance we won't see him back this season .
Given what you have just posted then bony, I'd rather not see him play again this season to make sure that he isn't rushed back into playing before he is 100% fit so that the physio's etc have plenty of time to get him fully recovered for the start of pre season training.
Yes, because Ki's record of almost no goals or assists and terror of making a tackle is exactly what we're missing right now. He's a mediocre player not exactly standing out in a poor side. If Sunderland offered us anything like £4m for him we should accept it gladly and thank our lucky stars we got that much back. As per usual Dai is also about as wrong as it's possible to be. The most glaring weakness in our side at the moment is on the wing and Laudrup needs to have someone lined up to join in the first week of January.
He was excellent at celtic. He is excellent at sunderland.. What does that indicate ???Laudrup again being his usual self as clueless on how to play him maybe....
Joe Ledley is excellent in the SPL. What is your point exactly? Ki made De Guzman look like Tommy Smith. In their haste to pour vitriol on JdG people have easily forgotten quite how ineffective Ki was when Laudrup bothered to play him last season, and that was when we were doing quite well. A choice between the two is a no brainer. Or at least it should be.
Can only be good for Swansea to have Ki on a loan. 1. he play every week for Sunderland. 2. keep his price at 4-5 million. If we wanna sell him in the summer.
Ki has been criminally played out of position since his arrival here but that's largely due to the competition for places in midfield. When he plays as an AM he's very effective but won't get that opportunity here I think. Even Poyet has hinted he's finally going to give him a chance higher up the pitch at long last, but I agree he's no winger. The comment "He's a mediocre player not exactly standing out in a poor side" is plain wrong. Setting aside whether you like him or not he's one of the Mackem's current stars and has just been voted player of the month. Mourhino identified his influence and said at his recent post-match press conference that he felt that to have a chance of beating them they had to nullify Ki. Hardly a player who's "not standing out".
totally agree kangaroo. it was criminal that we let him go out on loan, I don't think he wants to play for laudrup even if we did recall him now, Its a shame and a waste of a talented player not allowed to show his ability like he did at celtic and now sunderland for us...
