Anyone else enjoying this season less than last? I can't put my finger on it. Last season, obviously there was less in attendance and some often complained that the atmosphere was sterile. For me, we had fan unity last season and it made watching the game more enjoyable. Yes, we have lots of chanting now... but there is an edge to it that makes it slightly uncomfortable. It might just be me, but I'm certainly enjoying the match day experience less than last year. I expect it is just me though.
Yes there is. I know you have to do what you have to do to draw attention to your cause, but I'm not sure I'll be re-newing my pass next season if the protests continue after the FA decision (assuming the worst of course).
Dark cloud - like when we nearly went out of business and had the gates locked at the old ground, or dark cloud as in when we found out the business dealings of Duffen and Bartlett, or dark cloud as in relegation
A dark cloud that's casting a shadow over what should have been one of our best ever seasons. The other things were just ****wits mismanaging the club.
Found both enjoyable to be honest. It's just a shame there's this nagging issue with the owner. Without his name change ideas and angry outbursts everyone would be united behind the team. Fact.
An edge to an atmosphere at a football match doesn't make it uncomfortable it adds to it, the more febrile it gets the better, if you want comfort stay in your armchair or move to the flask and blanket section.
Although I agree with you, you're gonna get some s**t thrown at you for expressing indifference to the rebranding from all the well known suspects, you know ! Best of luck mate, most indifferent supporters of the CLUB have stopped posting on here. Far too many people prepared to rant and rave, and spoil it for the rest. This entire Forum should be renamed to "hate the owners club"
There's a difference between an edge to the atmosphere because of what's happening on the pitch, and one that's created because of what is happening in the stands.
Loving this season and loving all our home games ..not missed one so far. ( not been to an away game for 5years but fingers crossed I will after Christmas ) Loved last season almost as much . HULL CITY / HULL TIGERS 4 EVER.
