The bet is if Carlisle get 5,000, 6,000 or 7,000 they will sell out. if they don't sell out I give £100. I'm very confident so just give me the money at the next home game you go to.

Sorry but I've no confidence that you'd show up if you lost, you'd just post some backtracking drivel as an answer.

The easiest way is for you to name any bookie of your choice and they'll handle the bet.

We both place the £100 and the bookie pays out after deducting his cut ........ I've done it before and it works a treat.

So, nominate a bookie of your choice and I'll transfer the money in minutes.

Why wouldn't I show up? I'm a season ticket holder for **** sake. I don't want any bookie getting any cut. I will easy win the bet anyway so I think it will be you what wont show up.

I don't believe you'd meet me and pay up, I'm not saying you'll avoid the game.

I've never failed to pay up on a bet.

Anyway, to make it easier for you I'll pay the bookies cut so that you come out with a clear £100 ......... there you go, no excuse now is there?

I always pay up my bets but I don't really lose many tho & who is making excuses like? you wont win the bet anyway so you should stop thinking that. whats the next home game you going to?

I'm not making any excuses ........ simply place your £100, I'll do the same and then there's no question of someone not paying up is there?

You seem to be unwilling to back up your claim. Place the bet then everyone can see that we're both serious and honourable.

What's the problem? You used the 'bookies cut' as an excuse but I've said I'll pay that.

Had it all except time, we signed him too late. Just looking there, I'm staggered that he only spent 4 seasons of his career in the premiership. <yikes>

that's a waste of talent. i suspect he came to the game late and thus a bit of a journeyman when someone should have taken a punt on him earlier in his career. top bloke.

It is, summat to do with the police being unable to cope with 2 games on the same day.

The Mags are playing Cardiff on Saturday so Sunderland have to move their game of course.

How did I show my self up then? I thought Carlisle would bring 7,000 fans up just like what barrow did. I did say let's wait & see how many tickets they got.

Let me make this clear as you've been changing from what you originally said.

You said Carlisle would bring 7000 and I said they wouldn't, that was the bet.

I offered you a wager of £100 that could've been done in the internet witout either of us leaving our keyboards.

What I said was, "I'd be happy to have a bet with anyone before the end of the week." There was a reason for me saying that.

You wanted me to trust you to pay up which I don't .............. however, I've just had a bet with Cyprus Mackem without needing to involve the bookies.

BTW, barrow brought more than 7000 so you're wrong about that as well <laugh>

You needed the internet to check on how many Barrow brought <laugh> says it all. bet you couldn't even remember the Barrow game without using the internet.

The bet was if Carlisle get 7,000 they will sell out but then it got changed to if they get 5,000, 6,000 or 7,000 they would sell out. they will sell out & you was wrong. the way you was banging on they wouldn't sell nothing out.

Plus, you said we get something at Palace but we got beat, you said we get something at Stoke we got beat. I said we get beat at both & so who's the mug <laugh>
