Not a surprise after a couple of really poor displays and spending £100m plus, not one shot on target yesterday
Now that was a very bizarre interview. That said if you look at his stats he has done pretty well since managing in the Prem
I'd get the cleaner to check the changing room floor, that's where Gus normally leaves a clue as to what his intentions are...
Not a surprise by todays standards but todays standards are based on delusions, not realities. They've got a good squad. A new manager will have his own ideas and his own team in mind, could quite easily be 1 step forward two steps back for spurs as he rebuilds and tries new ideas. They're actually 1 point better off than they were last season and only 8 points off top. Ridiculous decision imo. Deserves everything he gets does Levy.
Didn't see the interview? What was said? I don't know why but I like the chap. Think he's been quite unlucky.
he's done more positive things to the way we play, with the squad we have, than any other manager I can remember. Would you be happy if he went?
shame we chose our home game against them last week to give one of our worst displays, Liverpool ripped them to shreds. I wasn't a fan of the bearded t*** anyway, can't say he's ever been a success over here and now Bale's gone they're ordinary with a load of over paid and under motivated foreigners.....................................verdict:correct decision
Laudrups a good shout. Jupp Heynckes if they can tempt him back into coaching What about Pardew? He's a London boyo
I reckon this is the one Roberto di Matteo was waiting for. Nailed on imo and that scuppers WBA who must have thought they had their man? I wonder if the national press call Spurs and Levy like they have SAFC and Short for sacking their managers quickly?
Good point .......... the answer begins with N, ends with O and stinks of hypocrisy I reckon Spurs will know they won't be doing what they set out to do this season so will virtually right it off. As a result I don't think they'll be in any rush to appoint a full time permanent manager. They'll plan for next season and take the time to find the right man. I think they'll bring in a popluar 'Spurs' man like Hoddle who'll keep things going and motivate the current squad. I doubt they would allow any new man access to the transfer window. It was an idiotic decision to bring this bloke in but at least his acking means that grown men won't be heard calling him AVB much any more
