Montoya is starting to mount a fair few games for Barca now, for this reason I don't see him joining in January.

We were never getting both IMO, if we had gone one of them then we might not have seen Sakho arrive since Skrtel and Coates didn't leave #budget
True, my point was more around the fact that 2 players BR had picked out and was willing to spend big money on are producing the good. Add in Sakho who big money was spent on and is performing well, looks like he can be trusted to spend big money when needed. This might help convince the owners to allow him to sign a top quality player in Jan/summer rather than them feeling cautious due to having their hands burnt when Kenny/Comollo were in charge (ignoring Suarez)
Over £16m then it doesn't include Henderson which will only start an argument as to whether he was money well spent of not
