One of his more memorable performances for me was when we played Swansea in the 2011/2012 season at the Liberty and he laid on the pass for 2 of our goals and a 3rd brought an incredible save from Vorm.
Hello... Michu and Bony should start so I'm a little more confident that normal, but as you're traditionally our bogey team I'd take a bore draw right now to be honest. My mate is a Canaries fan and I'll never hear the end of it again if you win. Happens every time. Europa League has taken its toll for sure, particularly injury wise. Rangel has been out at RB but he's possibly also back today and makes a huge difference to us going forward. I'm glad Pilkington is out - I like him a lot. Here's to a decent game. Our lot haven't looked at the races lately but having said that Shelvey almost single handedly destroyed the Toon and we've seen what sort of form they're in so he could be one to watch. Big question - if we thump you will CH get the chop?
I personally doubt it, we've got Fulham and Sunderland coming up and I think he'll be judged across all three games. Less than 4 point from the 3 games and I think he's gone.
Despite the fans feast or famine attitude towards CH, he won't be going anywhere. We are well on course for another year of mid table respectability
Personally doubt you'll thump us our home form is pretty decent and recent wins have made the fans and team a bit more confident. Were you to give us a hiding no way will ch get the chop. I think that had the board lost faith he would have gone after the Liverpool or Man city debacles. I am looking forward to our traditional good game against the swans and more importantly us getting our traditional three points. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Norwich City FC ‏@NorwichCityFC 7m #NCFC team v @SwansOfficial: Ruddy; Whittaker, Turner, Bassong (c), Olsson; Redmond, Howson, Johnson, Fer, Elmander, Hooper. #NCFC subs v @SwansOfficial: Nash (GK), Martin, Hoolahan, Garrido, Becchio, R Bennett, Josh Murphy. No Wolfy at all?
I'm not totally shocked there's no RVW, disappointing but I'm glad we're not rushing him back after an injury.
I like our starting line up, but it shows the impact these injuries have: from our bench, I'd like to see Hoolahan come on, but you've no idea whether he'll have a good or a poor game. After that, our best option is an 18yo...
Redmond against Davies could be a key battle for us. As was pointed out before, Bennett took him to pieces last season, and whilst I think Davies has improved, Redmond's a speedier customer than Bennett is/was. Not surprised to see RvW miss out, would have liked to have had him as an option to play 10-15 mins at the end (Elmander can't do a full game), but if there was an injury early on you need players on the bench capable of playing nearly 90 mins. Would have thought we could have dropped Garrido/Martin from the squad though to accommodate a second striker on the bench though.
Am I the only one who gets annoyed at garrido on the bench? Surely Jacob Murphy is a better option on the bench just for the experience... IF Olsson is injured I'd much rather martin came on for him and whittaker went to left back. Just think its a complete waste having 3 subs as defenders.
