    Thought I'd make a new thread to discuss this player in more detail.

    Let's assume this was correct. What do you all think of Erding? He scored 15 in 31 in 09-10, but only 8 in 22 this season just gone. Honestly seems like a bit of step down from the likes of Gameiro.

    Has anyone seen him play?

    Watched him a couple of times, he's quite quick and skillful and would link up well with the likes of HBA and Jonas. Would go well with someone like Ba too.

    Seems to like playing with his back to the goal and turning defenders.

    Sounds like a step down, but haven't really seem him play so who knows? Still rather we get someone of Gamiero's class

    Hmm I heard 9 in 22 which is better than Nolan/Ameobi's record this season but obviously it will be much easier to score in Ligue 1..
    I'd have to see him properly play, but I do trust Graham Carr and if he feels he would perform well then I'll be happy to have him :)

    He may be a step down from Gamiero, but hes a huge step up from our current crop of strikers

    From what I've seen, he looks like a half decent finisher. Whether he is good enough for the Premiership is another question.

    No, dont rate him, had him on football manager and he was shocking had a class team and he scored like 3 goals in a season, so for that reason NNOO!!

    Obviously a step down in terms of Gameiro as PSG would be replacing Erdinç with Gameiro. As Spiderman-Mask rightly pointed out though, he's better than anyone we have

    Just in response to the utter mong who gave me negative rep and is too much of a pussy to say his opinion directly to me:

    Erdinç: 8 goals in 22 apps
    Gameiro: 22 goals in 38 apps

    So in-terms of goals, it seems to be a step down, you moron.

    To be fair, Gameiro's had an incredible season and his record is good averages out at just slightly less than a goal a game.

    But then Erdinc has a similar ratio AND Oba only even scored double figures in a season but never managed over 20 for us yet was seen as a good striker!

    Plus, with him being Turkish, he won't leave us for the ACN like Ba/Gervinho/Sow would!
