A few more hiccups to come no doubt but this team are destined for a quick return to the Premiership. I know many Tottenham fans would love to have Harry back. It was also interesting to hear Neil Warnock on talk sport on Friday talking about the Rs and saying he is certain we will go straight back up. Im not getting carried away just yet but we are now odds on to be champions at the bookies and ive seen nothing that convinces me otherwise.

 

Beat Leicester and I will start feeling confident.

 

We have a far better squad than when we were promoted 3 years ago in my opinion. Were not always attractive and we will lose a few more games along the way, but we cant have a better management team and set of players to do the business at this level.

We're top of the League but for most of the game today we were cr*p, and were lucky to win. Leicester looked good in the the first 30 minutes I saw of them today, and Derby looked very good the other day. I think we going to have to get better to end up top 2.

Over previous seasons I have bemoaned our luck but no complaints from so far this season. However, it would be nice not to be the team that gets promoted by winning ugly!

 

TBH RTID I think the conditions were not condusive to good football, although we didn't help ourselves in the first half by giving the ball away so cheaply. 2nd half after Nico came on we showed what a good side we can be.

 

Very timely win today but I still don't know if we have a very good team who are under-performing or an average team who are riding their luck? Despite getting results I have seen only a couple of performances this season that convinces me its the former. I suspect next weekend will go a long way to clarifying this.

 

Looks like we need Adel back to clean up after them !
