Stolen from the other thread, but thought we could talk about it more.

Which of our youngsters do you think will make the step up to the first team squad?

    Who do think won't?

Who have you been impressed with and why?

I know he's already on the fringe but Gallagher for me. Big strong with a good strike rate.

Gallagher for me also. Has the general look of a Rickie type to me, good strong centre forward.

Hopefully a related enough question: Has our academy had any good results with keepers?

Josh Simms has caught the eye recently. Bags of pace and a good eye for goal. Priceless assets when added to technical abililty. And still only 16 I understand.

Did you see Heskeths 2nd goal in the Pompey rout? Reckon he will do OK.

I think they'll all make it in some capacity, spread throughout the leagues.

I presume we'll be seeing more of Harrison Reed in the not too distant. He looks a lot shorter than he did in the Indiana Jones films I noticed.

For a laugh I edited an old Saints player on Pro Evo 4 to become Harrison Reed. Got the height, look, ginger mop, everything as close as I could. I couldn't put him into my squad because it was full at the time. A couple of games into a session I played Man City, and who came on as a sub for them... my bloody Harrison Reed. Bloody cheek..! :)

I'll pick Joshua Debayo, he looks a good young cb. If he can continue how he has started with us he will be a good little player.
