I was terrified when Bobby Robson was there ......... they'd have won summat before they booed him out of TOOOOOOON.

The next team to win a cup will, sadly, be top dog for decades.

To be honest Whit, the same could be said about you, when was the last time you had anything nice to say about anything? I should watch yourself with allegations like that because it moves the spotlight directly over you. Do you have any proof to back your claims? Or is it yet another negative outburst with no substance?

    Bri

I come on here to read the posts and never realy contribute to the patter cos Im a Mag (feel free) I have loads of mates who travel all over with your lot.

I respect supporters of any team and listen to their opinions esp those who travel away.

I know BBP and would not have retorted if I was not one of those arrogant Mags he was sick of working with.

    Hope this explains.

No doubt I will have BBP on phone

I hate it when Newcastle get a run going in a cup competition.

Thankfully they've never had the opportunity to celebrate at Wembley and the prospect of watching them do that would be stomach churning.

I'm sure they'd hate it if we won the league cup this season.

For as long as I can remember for his wedding I bought him a signed Monty picture of that jammy double save itsthe nearest he has been to Sunderland.

Also BBP Claret I think he gave me the original user name.

The bastards stuck a red n white hat in me coat pocket knowing I was going into the Bee Hive on the Bigg market at derby weekend lol.

I used to get bombarded with pictures of Sunderland players esp rowell

You are lying on a number of topics

You know why I cant/ dont go to SAFC matches - except the cheap tickets.

You also know I was a season ticket holder until 2 seasons ago. I'm not now for many reasons - primarily financial (my wife loves SAFC just as much as me. I WONT go if she can't too - unless taking business guests).

I'm also surprised you have decided to use this forum - one of the few areas of pleasure left to me - to have a pop. Mind you, as I write this I am not surprised.

Last line Smug- I'm sure they'd actually love it. It would give them an opportunity to indulge in their favourite past time of smashing up their city centre. Anybody watch the program about the trains on derby day?

The Fairs Cup was just a joke .... any cup final that you win on your own ground isn't worth winning is it?

I would take defeat in the next 50 derbies, and relegation, in exchange to see NUFC lifting a major trophy at Wembley (and yes, that includes the League Cup). If Sunderland are in the championship next season as league cup winners, which I find an extremely plausible scenario, then in my eyes they are top dogs and will be for a good number of years. A few of the comments in this thread are absolutely flattering for NUFC.

You said we'll go down either way meaning they'll be top dogs either way.

Put your hat back on and sort yourself out man.

A derby means **** all next to silverware and anyone telling you it does needs their head looking at.
