Just found this so thought i would share

Players and fans of Newcastle United were able to be among the first to try out EA SPORTS' new game FIFA 14 at a special event at St James' Park last week.

Loic Remy, Papiss Cisse, Tim Krul and Davide Santon were the four Newcastle players who took each other on with the game, which is due out on 27 September, in the Nine Bar. In two cagey semi-finals, Krul got the better of Cisse, 1-0, while Remy beat Santon by a similar score.

Santon enjoyed the experience. "It's really cool," he said. "I was watching myself on the game and they did me exactly the same. Seeing the fans and the stadium, FIFA is one of the best games I have ever seen. Every year, they improve so it’s really good."

The final had lots of goals, on the other hand, but was a tight affair with Remy beating his goalkeeper 5-4.

"I like these nights because it is nice to see the fans and see them playing the game as well as us having the chance to play it"
Tim Krul"It was a good final, with a lot of goals," Remy said. "I am happy. We had a lot of pleasure."

Krul, despite losing, also had a good time. "I really enjoyed that," he said, adding that the tournament will stand him in good stead for the future. "I am looking to playing it at home with my friends.

"It was nice to play against Loic, because it was a good game. Against Papiss it was too easy! I like these nights because it is nice to see the fans and see them playing the game as well as us having the chance to play it."

Alongside the players' tournament, 64 Newcastle supporters had the chance to get their hands on the new game, which has innovations to make it more authentic and fun like the new and improved shooting feature called 'Pure Shot'. The supporters competed for the right to get early copies of FIFA 14, signed Newcastle United shirt, match tickets and FIFA Ultimate Team premium gold packs.

The winner, Robert Gray beat David Hughes in the final, taking home the signed Newcastle shirt, and he will also be given the chance to take on the players' champions Remy, at a later date, at the Newcastle training ground.

Would this be the same thing in practice?
