Horse has not been allowed to run on its merits in Maiden hurdles imo Ron, goes into its first handicap off of 69, won last year off of 85 on the flat. Could have many lbs in hand here imo. I mean its not like Jim Best is known for doing this is it <laugh>

Could be totally wrong though <ok>

Been given Straidnahanna in the first at Newcastle tomorrow. No price yet on PP. The tips is straight from the yard, i don't get many tips coming my way at all and usually don't like to pass them on but they seem confident on this one so i'll risk a little egg on my face if it ends up being a donkey!

It'll only run if they have their money on at right price... Any odds of it being pulled?

Looks interesting. I think I would also have a little saver on Racing Pulse though.

Great stuff. Did they not do one over 6f also?. There is no way anything could have beaten Frankel over 7f.

Get them in a Handicap Chase at Sedgefield over 3m 5f on heavy ground - that'll sort them out <ok>

I do fancy Module in the Peterborough Chase. 4/1 earlier today. Took 4/1 today. It's had some support. I don't think I'd bother at the 9/4 available now.

Doyenthedecentthing has a reasonable chance in the 2.20 at Newcastle. 14/1 is available still.

Module, receiving no less than 20lb from Cue Card, was in front of him by 6 lengths. Captain Chris looked very closely matched with Cue Card at levels on Ascot running but lost with a last fence blunder.

Going right handed, and only having to concede 8lb to Module, I think 7/2 CAPTAIN CHRIS looks the standout bet.

Right handed, 2 and a half miles, and drying conditions all in his favour.

Riverside Theatre goes well fresh and at the weights poses the biggest threat. His defection to the Peterborough leaves a second slot for a Henderson horse in the King George. Henderson wanted to try CAPTAIN CONAN at 3 miles before Sprinter Sacres slight setback left him switching to the Tingle Creek so anyone who wants to cover the big horse for the Boxing Day showpiece might want to put some very loose change on at big odds. Kempton will suit his speed but he has big stamina questions to answer.

Morning, crew. I think that those bookie chappies have got the old ‘Peterborough Chase’ about right so I won’t be wading in. Similar comments apply to other heats at Huntingdon in my opinion.

However, the one that I will be getting on today in a maximum bet type way is KINGSTON EUCALYPT in the 12 furlong maiden at Kempers Park (4.50). Lady Cecil has an odds-on shot in the heat but I think Dave Elsworth’s filly can take the race with something to spare. She’s already earned an official perch of 74 and in the process proved herself more than capable of winning a race of this type. Furthermore, she has some quite decent form amongst her races to date and today’s event looks considerably weaker than many of the races she has so far contested. Her last couple of races have seen her finish a close 3rd over course and distance (animal who finished 2nd won by 4.5 lengths next time up, whilst the 5th placed has also obliged since) and then again at Lingers Park (horse who beat her half a length won next time out) and a reproduction of those efforts should see Kingston Eucalypt home today. 9/4 looks a stand-out price, methinks.

    Good luck all.

Won in an absolute canter. Very, very impressive, although of course it was just a maiden hurdle, but has just been bought for a considerable amount of wonga so they must think he is going to be something special.

It was a bad race but he walked all over that lot. You'd be delighted with that debut wouldn't you? I think the info horse ran well but looked a little exposed. Third i think.
