Oh dear. This place is going to be hell when the hamilton fans come back. I guess it was Webber and Button this time.

In fairness we have not heard from Hamilton yet and he may hold his hands up to a very 50:50 incident.

Im really not a fan of these triumphalist posts gloating when misfortune befalls any driver.

Jacky, I'm very much a 'casual' F1 fan. So I'm being pretty tongue-in-cheek. Just sometimes I notice when I come on F1 boards people defend Hamilton no matter what (maybe rightly btw, honestly, I enjoy the race on a Sunday but I couldn't argue the finer details with anyone!).

Clearly it was the wall. The wall should have given Hamilton room to pass. Remove the wall barriers so Lewis can excite us with console games style racing. <laugh>

Waiting to hear what the drivers say, but they looked 50/50 to be honest, though Jenson shouldnt really have turned in on his team mate. On the other hand maybe Lewis should be more patient when making an overtake because it was clear he was so much quicker than the guys in front. Why not wait until the hairpin?

Tongue in cheek maybe but that doesnt diminish the post's ability to spark a flame war between some of the more pyromaniacal fans.
Sure there aren't many willing to revisit last weeks display

I think there should be a backward facing camera with a screen in the cockpit, the wing mirrors are almost completely useless, almost just a token gesture. If it had been in the dry it would've unquestionably have been Buttons fault, the Webber incident was just one of those things, schumacher was getting his own back for Monaco. none of the incidents were as bad as LH on Massa at the hairpin, just one of those things that happen in the wet, tht said, however, they were 'unwise' decisions to make, which has always been Hamiltons downfall.

Hamilton vs Webber = Hamilton's fault
Hamilton vs Schumi = Naughty Schumi
Hamilton vs Button = 50/50 Button's maybe, Hamilton was faster, half a car length in, Button gave no space.

Sorry to leave you with the aftermath then Jackie cos I won't be here! Hamiliton clearly doesn't think he was at fault for any of the 3 incidents (in 8 laps, a couple under a safety car) he was involved in judging by his interview. If he's correct and could've got the car back to the pits then his team clearly disagree whatever they say publicly.

Button took the racing line. He was ahead and have every right to do that. Not entirely free of blame but it is 60/40 Hamiltons fault.

But if you look ahead, it was the same line schumacher took.

Racing line is the slipperiest line in the wet.

I would of thought Hamilton would use some of his experience, hes not a Rookie any more. He was taking to many risks, and in these conditions you are going to get punished. Webber said in his interveiw with Brundle that the first priority in the race was to get the car home and to wait for the majority of the race to start racing. Lewis looks like one frustrated driver, and the fact that only his wheel was damaged and stopped under team orders is going to add fuel to the fire.

    Sort it out Lewis!!!!

Unfortunate day for Hamilton. Nothing reckless from him but he's not totally innocent. Really hope he gets his head back by the next GP for a win (maybe, hopefully).

    1. Dunno, maybe, more of a racing incident caused by the conditions than anything else, but a bit impatient from Hamilton, as usual.
    2. definitely correct, dirty bastard
    3. agree
