Steve Bruce wants to sign Seb Larsson for a THIRD time and is eyeing up a £5million swoop for the Sunderland midfielder in January. Hull boss Bruce is keen to add Larsson to his squad to boost the Tigers' Premier League survival chances. And he also sees the Swedish international midfielder as the ideal replacement for Jake Livermore, should Tottenham chief Andre-Villas Boas recall the 24-year-old early from a season-long loan deal to the Humberside outfit. Larsson, 28, is set to out of contract at the Stadium of Light in June and has yet to open talks on a new deal. And a summer switch to the KC Stadium would tempt Larsson - especially if Hull stay up and the relegation-threatened Black Cats tumble out of the top flight. He would also relish a re-union with Bruce - a manager he rates highly. Former Birmingham boss Bruce paid Arsenal £1million to bring Larsson to St Andrewâs six years ago, following a successful four-month loan. Then, as Sunderland manager, Bruce signed him on a Bosman in July 2011. Really? I think Seb just gave old cock nose a decent BJ once. £5mil will be very useful to us next month.
For the record id snap someone hands off if they came in with a cash offer. He's an absolute liability and detrimental to our survival chances in my opinion. Im not sure what's gone on.with Cabral but im convinced even a half fit half arsed Cabral is better than what Larsson has to offer.
I thought we were Gardner bashing after the last couple of games? or have we reverted back to the usual scape goat ?
Let him go - provided there is a clause in the agreement that states they have to buy Graham as well x
