    You dirty bugger. Bet some bird-watchers had a right eyeful in their binoculars when looking for the common starling! <laugh>

    The big difference now is there is a dredger permanently removing sand from the sea bed just off shore, if you go to any of the beaches along the Holderness coast you can see the evidence.

    Anyone seen the photos of Cromer, Sheringham, Walcott, Hemsby etc on the Norfolk coast after the surges?

    It's bloody heartbreaking

    Yeah - the Eastern Daily Press did a 'special' of pics. Upsetting stuff and heart-breaking for those affected.

    For anybody that cares/has a Caravan on/knows someone on Sandy Beaches Caravan Park, they're Twitter has just released a Statement:

    @SandyBeachesLTD
    Please note that the Caravan Park is CLOSED to the general public. You may visit on Saturday and Sunday between 11am-2pm but must report 1/2

    @SandyBeachesLTD
    2/2 to the office for safe escorting to your caravan. It is imperative that nobody attempts to enter the Site without visiting the office.

    @SandyBeachesLTD
    PLEASE NOTE that the previous visiting times mentioned (11am-2pm) is for OWNER'S ONLY. We reiterate that the Site is CLOSED to the public.

    Sounds as though it's still quite dangerous down Kilnsea/Spurn end.

    My mate had the cafe at Sheringham near the lifeboat shed. When he went down after the 2nd lot to meet NNDC officials, he found he had been looted.
    Sadly it also happened in Cromer and Hemsby.

    There are some scummy gits about
