It's a piece of piss putting up a shed - I put mine up.

Having said that it does lean a fair bit to the right, the door doesn't shut properly and I'm fairly sure its got the wrong roof on it.

    Outside light still.works though

I also have an allotment infact I have two next door to each other, I also have a shed and three greenhouses all withstood the recent winds we experienced. My shed is nearly 50 years old and will prob last another 50 years as its made out of teak. My main concern with it at the moment is I,m experiencing a small mouse invasion but I plan to buy some poison to kill them all.

Shed, lean-to log-store attached; 6 x 8 greenhouse; 10 x 8 greenhouse (cost £30!) to be erected this winter. I'm behind Big Daddy, but not giving up the fight!

Stan, unless your sheds are made of teak (teak?! Fooking hell! GT is up there! A TEAK SHED FFS!) or indonesian mahogany, you're just a bit player in the world of sheds.

Thats a lot of greenhouse space you have though, how are you heating them? Are they glass or perspex? What are you growing in them? Any rodent problems?

HT - cheap s/hd shed, I'm afraid (bought it from neighbours, who were flitting). Lean-to is much more sound.

Glasshouses are ali and glass. Both s/hd.

I grow tomatoes/peppers/chillies in them. Raise my own plants from saved & bought-in seed. Sell plants to locals and via road-side stand.

Glasshouse heating is propane burner, but I may need to see about something for the 10 x 6 when it comes into action next year.

[Edit: Rodent problems? I have a killer terrier....]

Ok respect for that. We're obviously more alike than we realise, I think Im just gonna drop off the name change threads as we're not going anywhere there. I admire your horticultural facilities and skills too.

Road side, is that a "left with an honesty box"?

Your use of the word flitting made me laugh too, conjures up "mid night flit" to avoid paying the rent/debts.

I take it your terrier could also see off one of Carmine's mythical honey badgers like mine could?

Yeah, we all have some similarities, Happy. We're all temporarily polarised by the name-change issue. I've contacted the FA with my opinion, so will likely, as yourself, leave the threads alone.

'Honesty Box' it is. Had some short payments wher the punter seems to have not had the change.

Terrier v.Badger. Tough one to call. A badger is a fearsome thing! Have you seen one? Big as a pig, some of 'em. And they fight by gripping the opponent with their mouth and ripping it apart with their front claws. Awesome fighters.

A tribute I personally put together.

Just think what it would do to a Yorkshire Terrier.

Warning; It is emotional and may upset viewers.

Sure but one's that eat honey? They've gotta be a bit soft. Probably drink herbal tea too if you know what I mean.

I see quite a few veg or egg stands outside houses round here with honesty boxes, and I always wondered if on average they work out ok or if they're a magnet for thieving scumbags.

Im assuming you don't have livestock then? I was tempted by chickens until a mate at work had some and basically spent months being outfoxed by the fookers. He's a handy bloke but struggled to make anything secure enough to keep the devious bastards in.
