Diakite Captain? MB seems to rate him for the reserves, I wonder why he doesn't even make the first team bench.
It was widely - and sensitively - reported that he was suffering from depression. Here's hoping he's on the road to recovery. At one point he was looking like he might shape up as our very own Patrick Viera. There's still time yet for him, if he can get the right support and focus on his footballing talent. Wishing him well!
Great news, perhaps with a stronger defence, the forwards will have the confidence to bag a few more goals!
Well if it is depression, it is not something you recover from, just learn how to live (and cope) with it. Hope to see him in a hooped shirt again, showing us the talent he has.
He was starting to look like such as class player but then he just seemed to of disappeared , its weird though because I remember him playing against Everton then going into the reserves again
Whilst Diakite was outstanding at times, let's not forget he was also capable of running round like a headless chicken, a red card waiting to happen. I'll trust Harry's judgement but the lad did seem to have potential.
