Just booked my tickets - we have an allocation of 900, still 430 available. Its a 7.30 kick off and on telly, am I going to be lonely up there? Anybody fancy a pre-match festive pint? Any advice on parking near the ground? To take up the clubs generous offer of free buses I would have to drive at least 90 minutes in the wrong direction first.....
Would be good to meet up Stan and its only 30 - 40 mins from me but I have the entire clan venturing North for Boxing Day in Sheffield and I'm unlikely to find a designated driver who hasn't had a sherry or three on Boxing Day.........nope turkey sandwiches and watching it on Sky sadly
What happened to the Boxing Day tradition? I love Boxing Day games, though last years against West Brom was pretty dire, for the match and the nightmare traffic. And an evening kick off doesn't sound right either, but ****ing hell, where are you lads - its (relatively) northern Yorkshire. If Judo and Sussex don't go I'll want some kind of commemorative medal.
Boxing Day games should be 3pm ko, none of this late evening malarkey......especially when there is no public transport.......fair play to TF for the free travel offer. Enjoy the game stan, we'll look out for you on the telly. Another date for the diary, have now got the flights booked for the Burnley game on 1st Feb, the lunch time ko actually works quite well and still allows time for a post game pint and a bite to eat before the early evening flight back. See if you can make that game subject to your lads rugby commitments.
Reminded me to get one. I assumed I could rock up on the day or get one the day of the Leicester game but I guess not. ****ing ludicrous time to play a game of football by the way.
You're on Wubba, unless I'm on the way to Japan. Couple of pints of Wards has my mouth watering already. I'll do my best for the Burnley game as well Tramore. Requests for the literary style of my Forest match report welcome. Default mode will be Ulysses style James Joyce stream of consciousness, and none of us want that.
I'd have loved to have gone to this game and met up for a festive pint Stan but I'm on duty that night.
I'll be there with my (not so) youngster I'm more annoyed about the re-arrangement of the Derby game - likely to be the only one I can't get to this season
i can not make my mind up on this one at all i have us hammered there so many times that it is not funny so i am not sure i would forgive myself if i missed seeing us win there
