Good to see the club recognising and celebrating our heritage.

It's something to be held onto at all costs- it's just the type of priceless unique asset that foreign investors cherish.

Maybe, but wouldn't pushing the history of Hull City and the Association that Cobb Morley was involved in creating be a shot through both feet?

I think it's a sign Mr Allam's decided to drop the name change.

I don't hold any store on what TFT writes, it could be true, it could be attention seeking bollocks from him.

The rest is rumours I've heard that are as vague, and no more robust than the hints I've posted. I'm not one of the golden people that know stuff, I generally find things out when they land on message boards.

I've found even when rumours are true, they still don't always come to fruition anyway.

Has the club dropped the 'Cobb' from Ebenezer Cobb Morley to shorten it down to 1 word like Pepsi Cola?

We're going to recognise the historic link we have to Association Football, by dropping Association Football Club from our name?

    You couldn't make it up.

The sensible thing to do would be to drop 'Ebenezer' and 'Morley' - Just call him 'Cobb'. Apparently they see this as a big opportunity in the North West. Cobbs are in big demand for sandwiches and dipping in soup.

I haven't seen a crumb of evidence to support this though.

At least the club is attempting to raise its re the type and quality of event around the match.

Much much better than recent months but this type of thing should be a regular occurrence.

Perhaps as many of the 65/66 team as possible should have been invited not just Waggo and Chilly.
