I must say I've seen some guff written by the Scousers over the years, but the following is right up there You heard it here first. So Liverpool bid £22 million, not because they really wanted Phil Jones, but the piss off Fergie and make us pay an extra few quid
there must be something in the water in liverpool.no place on earth produces more idiots per square mile.
Those comments do sound very desparate but then most Liverpool fans think the sun shines out of Dalglish's arse.
Have any of you ever been on RAWK? If you are down go on it for a laugh it is brilliant. They are saying the same thing there as well. Anything they do must be to get one over Manchester United. That is how obsessed they are. Phil Jones has agreed to sign for United, he has rejected Liverpool so do they think that if Dalglish comes in and bids £22m and Blackburn except, do they think they can MAKE Jones sign for Liverpool? Because obviously now he has his heart set on United, they can't choose where he goes. The player himself will.
whether you sign him or not(you will) it is good to see saf and kenny going for english players, unlike poker face at the emirates
They are deluded think Dalglish is god when he only has a luck few months. Can't wait for the excuse they will come up with, when they finish 6th again.
Oh dear. Some of those posts are just cringy. They were jokes surely? I didn't know humans could be that stupid.
I love the fact that everything they do is to be better than United. They are a 6th placed meaningless side now. They aren't on United's radar. I also think it's funny how KPR thinks he knows that because we are buying Jones we don't have enough money for a midfielder. Like he knows the exact amount we have to spend Think he got his info off twitter.
Ah they're all just a wee bit bitter cos the £12 million plus Ngog some of them thought they were going to get away with for Henderson looks like turning into £17 million plus Ngog. Even Darron Gibson is likely to go for more than £3 million! http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...d_ngog_could_be_a_3_million_bargain_1_3462265 That, and far too many Liverpool fans seem to be taken with the whole "FSG bid for players purely to annoy their rivals". That's all based on them bidding $51 million for a pitcher who the Yankees only bid $32 million for. What a fine bit of business - pay 60% more than your main rivals for a player who had one and a half decent seasons, got the record for walking batsmen (that's a bad thing!) and is now crocked. Here's hoping FSG keep that pattern up for Liverpool
which pitcher was that? i used to be into baseball when channel 5 here would show it in the early hours of the morning but not seen it now for a couple of years at least
lads its called banter. we obviously know he's talented and will be class when older. most mancs use banter aswell. some say liverpool will get lucky finish 5th. the fact we finished 6th only a few points off spurs, half a season with roy and we've got the dosh, shows thats not the case. btw i admit those comments are pretty stupid. all clubs have those fans like that. however we have some fans who are witty, kind and sucessful in this current climate. i dont blame you for hating us the way we hate you, its part of football.
In America the liverpool owners are well known for paying over the odds on everything. Apparently they pay double for fuel. Interesting.
Daisuke Matsuzaka. Ranked by one of their columnists as their worst signing ever. Still, at least they outbid the Yankees for him. Nice work FSG http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...mmy-john-was-he-bostons-worst-signing/page/11 Btw, I wonder what Rauuul, BBF and KPR would say now if Utd withdrew from the deal and Jones ended up going to Liverpool for £22 million? I have a feeling they'd be lauding him as the next Franz Beckenbauer and claiming he would have been great value at £35 million
Liverpool didn't bid £22 million for Jones imo. Unless I see official confirmation that remains wild, unsubstantiated speculation. And I do not think Liverpool will finish above 5th next year unless Arsenal self destruct (possible admittedly). Liverpool's list of targets does not frighten me. In fact, the players they are being linked with are worse than what they have. With the fees being speculated, they will have to start them and I think that will unsettle the rhythm that Kenny has undoubtedly got going. Liverpool's biggest problem imo is that Dalglish isn't a great player spotter. And his chief scout (the Spurs reject) Damien Comolli seems to be more fond of hearing his own voice than progressing the team. Has anyone else ever seen a more "media friendly" chief scout in their life. Not arrogant, just poor.
