RODney - Planksy can't handle my football knowledge.
Over 2 months ago I posted

'If you like and think SOD's version is the way forward then we disagree.
Why I bother to educate you lot I don't know but here goes.
SOD's version allows s**t teams to get back behind the ball and deny us space.
Basically, I'm advocating getting the ball forward quicker while space is there - the absolute opposite of SOD's plan.

So the visionary Planksy came back with

'Clog it up front as soon as possible then.!
it's hardly a vision but I suppose you have at least offered something... I'm gonna stick with SOD for now as I'm not convinced by your visionary plan.. but hey, maybe later..

RODney - Some of us see it sooner. Some lead. Some follow.

JET is by far the best player on the books at present, hopefully SC should do everything in his power to keep this guy at the gate, build a team capable of a return to the championship next season around him.He is special build the team around him and see where it takes us,i would say JET knows he is wanted here,is playing some of his best football for a long long time.No player is bigger than the club, but this kid is special<applause><applause><applause>

He doesn't know anything about football Lan.

He is showing the classic signs of an inferiority complex..

He also cant read "I'm gonna stick with SOD for now" (as opposed to his lump up front rubbish.) 'but hey. maybe later" is exactly what the board did.!!

Perhaps now he has learnt a bit he might start listening a bit, we can only hope, it is nearly xmas after all...

Had many a fun evening in the Pioneer and the Greyhound in Keynsham back in the day. And that place down by the marina - the Lock Keeper or something I think it was called?

Saturday is the proving ground, don't jump on a player if he starts off with a bad touch, missed tackle etc but give the whole team support throughout good or bad

    Remember one bit of psycology

if you start on one player the rest might think they are next and under perform by "trying to avoid getting the ball, or staying out of the way of a potential good pass because if they screw it up they could be next on the block"

Even sttranger I know that people on here would know my other auntie, but that's for another day.

The only problem with this being jets best position is that him and Reid won't often be in same side unless he plays the 4 4 1 1 with jet bebind baldock

Midfield diamond with Pack sitting in front of back four, Reid and Bryan as the next two, with JET doing what he did on Sunday.
He was our best defender against free kicks and corners, worked hard in midfield and creative going forward.

100% Cidered. He was our best defender as well as attacker. Interesting that he can sometimes seem a little languid, but on Sunday he was everywhere on the pitch.

Trouble was, that Sunday was a real shop window for him. I really hope that most Championship Managers will see him as a luxury and a risk (based on previous clubs) and not make enquiries. We need him to stay as our secret. Probably just as well we didn't draw a big club.
