Kranjcar is 4 years younger and weve only got him until the summer and theres no way we should sign him on a permanent. This guy wants another year.

I would hope so, fair enough for a player in their teens or early to mid 20s, but you dont want to be giving a multu year deal to a player who will be in his 30s. HH is the only older player I think deserved the deal he got and they were 1 year extensions.

Not too impressed with this signing. I'd rather take a chance on one or two of our youth players than sign up a reluctant, aged (in footballing terms!) former PL 'star'. We've got a solid foundation of experienced players, the way forward, in my opinion, would be to integrate some exciting youth prospects into the mix.

Youve been reading too many of my posts! We need more pace to drop defenders deeper which will open up the game, apart from Hoilett, we have no one that will get in behind the defensive line. No one wanted this guy for 5 months, there has to be a reason.
