We have now played all the top teams at home. Its not over yet. Have a look at our remaining home games for the season. Thoughts? We have a lot of chances and hopfully we can still pick up the odd away point/s. Starting next week against West Ham. Sunderland V Norwich Sunderland V Aston Villa Sunderland V Southampton Sunderland V Stoke Sunderland V Hull Sunderland V West Brom Sunderland V Crystal Palace Sunderland V West Ham Sunderland V Everton Sunderland V Cardiff Sunderland V Swansea
With O Shea and Bardsley at the back championship here we come. We keep saying we have the home games but how many will we win ? Norwich, Stoke, Palace, WHU not enough I am afraid crap defending and no clue going forward, the usual hoof ball. the Man c game was just a one off, not Beating Fulham says a lot now.
As a Sunderland fan for 50 years I have to put aside my obvious bias and look at the facts. I doubt there is much of a chance of staying up now. I reckon the squad will have had the stuffing knocked out of them after another 2 home defeats. We have the January window coming up...For me plan for next season, get rid of the likes of Bardsley, Gardner Larsson and O'Shea. Start plying some of these kids who we signed and bring in some experience who know what division they will be in next season. I have a lot of faith in Poyet and think he will do well next season, but I hope his thinking in January is more preparation for next season and not the rest of this one.
Sorry mate I just posted a pretty much identical thread and didn't see this. Great minds eh ha Away GC do the thing you like most
I suppose if you look at Palace you would have to say that you are not down yet but you need some points quickly to close the gap on 17th.West Ham and Fulham look poor and Cardiff look finished to me.
I'm pretty much resigned to it although I'm hoping that there's still three teams in there that are worse than us. Palace, Hull & West Ham are all in free fall. That said, we're getting no luck at all from ****e officiating. Results went against us yesterday & so did decisions. We can't do nowt about that, however, apart from yesterday, the West Brom game & possibly Swansea I've seen positives in them all so you never know.
How the hell did Lee Mason miss the Sandro handball yesterday? He was five yards away with an unobstructed view.
Whatever happens today we are still only 2 wins away from safety with some easier games coming up. Our luck will turn soon. Ha'way the lads.
Cardiff and West Ham have some hard fixtures coming up. a positive result next sat and then we have norwich at home. I can see Allardyce getting sacked in the next 3 games if he doesn't buy himself time with a win over us. I also think Cardiff chairman will sack Mackay if they drop into bottom three. Its not over yet!!! Ktf
