Just in from work. Could only keep tabs of score on phone. Reading a few snippets it looks like a good result even though we could have narrowed gap to seven to top team. Still, great manager, money available in January and the best striker in the division. Doesn't get much better
After getting over my initial disappointment at the equalizer, I have to say that I couldn't be prouder of the determination and fighting spirit the team showed today. We know that while 3-5-2 is our only viable formation we won't really be able to deal with quick counter attacks down the wing, and we can deal with that in January, and if you'd told me in October that I'd be ruing a draw against Watford to go within a point of the play-offs I wouldn't have believed you. MOT
It's time to take back your mod role. Bucks seems to go AWOL more often than TC during a wallie form slump.
I don't know why you persist with this rubbish Mighty. Were poles apart and the gap is widening all the time. Leeds, big club, big support, great manager, top goal scorer in division and new owners about to take over and back McD further. Wallies, a poor pub team full of cast offs, **** support and at best will hang on at bottom of championship again. The gaps gonna continue to widen fella
.... your going to win the league, your going to win the league so now we're going to believe you your going to win the league. get Me a pint of that stuff your on Mighty.
What about if someone had told you Watford haven't won a game in 2 months and they would be sitting 12th in the table would you have believed that Everything is relative and that was two points lost yesterday.
Sometimes you talk ****e. We are fast approaching having played everyone once and even though it wasn't expected we are right in the mix for at least a playoff place. Only a complete cretin wouldn't see that as great progress. Then we have the mood music of a good manager getting us playing decent football, the owners generally doing the right thing. Wake up to yourself will you, give the negativity a rest it's become tedious.
massive 9 point gap and only over eight seasons if it keeps growing at that rate youll make the prem somewhere around 2099 good luck
Unless charlton go into admin the only question is will there be 1 or 2leagues between us this time next year. Happy to clear that up for you.
Watford may well be 12th,but they were probably the league's best team last season and wont be far away this time either IMO.
Shows how far youve dropped when a fan says top 10 in the championship is GREAT PROGRESS open your eyes Hunter and take a good look you might see what i see how many years to get out of league 1 ? how many so far in the Championship ? how many more to come ? i might be wrong but i think Grayson had you within a whisker of the prem and years after you are no nearer... thats not progress mukka
have you not noticed Bates has gone ? for the first time in many years we should have a better team at the end of a jan transfer window instead of selling off our best players.Things are on a fast track forward for us and I'm afraid our rivalry is about to end this season or next.
Grayson had reached his limits. The fact he caved in to Bates says more about him than anything else. He wouldn't have got us up in 10 years of trying, even without Bates and his treachery.
