He did get caught in possession, but no more than Barton, and his passing was way more consistent. Carroll is a very promising player, his size may stop him progressing but he seems to be very comfortable on the ball, hopefully he can progress at QPR this season.
his size is an asset in the PL, all he has to do is fall over every time he gets muscled off the ball and he wins a FK.
