And how do you interpret those of us who voted the other way?

You probably didn't understand the question, or clicked on the wrong button by mistake.

Actually hardly any of you understood it (as written). The vote was only open to the WOB - but Piskie still voted (for example). I've not noticed him calling for Wenger's head that often.

It wasnt open only to the WOBs - if you never wanted him to be sacked, you didn't belong in that group. Me, for example.

Wenger doing a good job so far, but if he had kept Rvp. Well, this year would really be your year. Ozil and Rvp = title

I can see that this needs explaining to you :

Those who wanted Wenger out had the chance to vote 'yes' or 'no'. But those who voted 'never wanted him sacked' by definition can't be WOBs, so naturally the last option is not aimed at WOBs regardless of the title, but gives all Arsenal fans the opportunity to answer the question in context.

Most people reading the poll can understand that, but you have to surmise that the spuds IQ must be on a par with their Goal difference <whistle>

This abstract thinking appears to be beyond the cognitive capabilities of most spuds <ok>

So why include Wenger Out Brigade in the title? Why not "Should Wenger be Sacked" as the title. I agree option 3 and the title are incompatible, but surely it's the OP's fault.

Because there was a significant amount of Arsenal fans who wanted him sacked, so the thread was designed to discern whether that was still the case, but also gave those who had never wanted him to be sacked the option to have their opinion registered also, as it gives that opinion a chance to be aired in context.

It's not incompatible, most people have grasped this concept. Why is it so difficult for you to understand ?

The poll was designed to annoy those labelled as the WOB, and provide an opportunity for gloating for the select few who refused to acknowledge Wengers inadequacies.

Those in the middle, who saw his inadequacies, but saw him change & gave him credit where credit was / is due, just find it silly.

No it wasn't. It was designed to see if those who were so vocal about wanting Wenger out still held that view. You're making assumptions and drawing conclusions based on your opinion.

My personal view was that most Arsenal fans, even those accused of being WOBs or AKBs were actually somewhere in the middle and recognised that we were doing okay, but needed improvements. But that didn't stop the 'deluded' 'apologist' 'blind faith' labels being thrown around by those who were so vocal and adamant about Wenger needing to be sacked.

Hence, this thread is to ask if those who held that view, still do.

For most people, it was fairly self explanatory.

We are where we are because of one man...Mr. Arsene Wenger. I will never turn my back on him even if we missed the CL. He's the realest gooner around.

It was almost a dirty word to say that you were a Wenger 'supporter' not so long ago, but I firmly maintained during that time that he was the best person to manage our club and that we would have been up **** creek if we'd have sacked him and I stand by it. When you think back to some of the names that were being banded about who could have done a better job, people like Owen Coyle, who has just been sacked at Wigan, Harry Redknapp now wheeling and dealing in the championship and Fat ****ing Sam ... well it's laughable really.

I understood the frustrations at the time, but sacking Wenger was never going to be the answer. I know we haven't won anything yet, but the club are on the right track and Wenger's policy of building a core of British youth is starting to pay off. We're sitting pretty at the top of the league and have the chance today to go seven points clear - and that is down to one man - Arsene Wenger <ok>

Yeah, the most valuable thing Mr. Wenger did was he built a quality new stadium, managed to keep Arsenal competing while paying off debt. We're almost debt-free and finally have the funds to buy world-class players without having to sell anyone. Wenger has sorted Arsenal's future. Wenger is a mastermind.
