Nap today is: 3.25 Doncaster - Flowing Cape e/w (current best price 14/1). (Very open and competitive handicap, but has a good a chance as any?). NON-RUNNER! ........so, I'll have a few punts on Nassau's Salisbury selections........look like decent bets to me........
I have also done a lucky 15 today (first time in ages) but the main thing today is working out the Coventry Stakes! Salisbury is the place for it too with the rain softened ground hopefully giving an interesting betting angle - predicting rain all day 2.30 Solemn - The ground isn't a worry for the horse and its on a roll yet 13/2 in the market. Won twice on soft going. 3.40 Border Patrol - They have held this back for this sort of ground and 7/2 is a steal. Backed in a good single bet too 4.45 Duquesa - One of very few that are proven on the ground, shame Cosham is on but at 12/1 its too big. 5.20 Ice Nelly - Ran well on softer than good ground at Chepstow and should go close here. 3/1 is fair If they all win I will retire!

Just thought I mention a few others I like but won't back. Best watched and not for backing. 3.40 Salisbury - Elnawin 4/1 has a great chance but high standing 2/1 is a real threat. Either of them should win this. 4.10 Cork - Polly Mark 9/4 looks a good thing but the unexposed Mesariya 11/2 is the biggest danger.
Cyc do you fancy your man Vettel today? Starting from his customary pole you would usually expect a straight forward win. But it's going to be a wet race so an element of unpredictability will play a hand now... I liked the look of Hamilton earlier on at 15-2, (considering the weather the race could be very wide open) but he's into 5-1 now, which is too short.
