    Old Town is dry thank ****. There's some stupid ****ers on the A63 driving down the wrong way trying to miss traffic!! What about the traffic driving towards them? Thick bastards!!!!!

    the water is receding fortunately, not sure of damage but i think the warnings were spot on

    expecting the same with tomorrow mornings high tide around 9am

    South Cave got done in by some gales, some poor sod left his car in our car park and next doors sheet metal barn flew over and landed on it. Not a happy bunny.

    We've been on half power pretty much all day, also lost the gas main so no heating either. And to make matters worse, all the ale was ****ed because we had no electricity to power the gas compressor. So people had to drink.....*gulp*....lager.

    Looking on the bright side....with all these power cuts, a few more bob in generator sales for the Allam dynasty....pay for a new striker no ?

    Actually here in Hessle a guy I knew drowned in the floods of 2007, so it can be very serious for some!! i still have bad and vivid memories of that day.
