    A truly inspirational man.

I have visited South Africa on a couple of occasions and the white people there do not understand the debt they owe to Nelson Mandela.

    RIP..Nelson Mandela.

Superlatives are used far too cheaply... but Nelson Mandela was one of the very, very few truly GREAT human beings. I visited Cape Town in 2009, and seeing the tiny cell on Robben Island where he was incarcerated for 18 years was both humbling and powerful. RIP to a truly remarkable man who made a huge contribution to mankind.

So much for us to learn from him. The challenge is not to stand
back and admire, but to step forward and be like him.
    R.I.P. Nelson Mandela.
Words like 'great' and 'unique' are bastardized by over-use.
Nelson Mandela was truly a great and unique human being.

    R.I.P Nelson Mandela.

Will be interesting to hear David Camerons words on him. Seeing as he was a main part of a "Hang Mandela" group...

Mandela leaves a huge legacy and is one of the most important people of the 20th/21st century.
His truth and reconcilation policy shows that it is possible to forgive.
South Africa has come a long way, but still has a long way to go, especially in terms of economics/poverty

I don't know nor care how many people William Wallace killed, as he was a ****ing idiot, by all accounts. Did we murder in WW2? Are you really comparing a declared world war to some unlce Ben lookalike going around putting limpet bombs in train stations?
