My street has half flooded and the power is out, just me here with my iPhone in the dark! They are waiting for the high tide to back off then hopefully the flood water will piss away. My car is still dry...for now. No torch, no candles. Guess I'll just sit and wait.
I need a wee but I can't even see my toilet. If all the clocks on my electricals re-set I'll be fuming.

You're ****ed with an iPhone for company Party! Make sure you turn your screen brightness all the way down else you'll be in total dark with no company before you know it.
I just sat down to wee. God I'm so bored. All this water is coming from Toys R Us, it's at the end of the road. Good job I'm in a penthouse 6 floors up.
I was at work at KC since 1pm. Went for some food at 5ish and there was nothing wrong in town. 7 comes and our manager says we've all got to go home. We all laughed at her when she used the word 'evacuate'. Then the power to the building tripped briefly (we have a generator so it came back on), we looked outside and town was just dark except for the big buildings which presumably also had generators. Outside there was water all up Ferensway as far as Carr Lane. The Humber is on Ferensway ffs. All the traffic lights were out and everyone was fighting to turn right at the junction of Carr lane and Ferensway. Yet at the other end of Ferensway no one seemed to be aware of the carnage at the Humber end. People were just walking around with headphones totally oblivious. I'm getting paid til 9 mind.
So, today? Or yesterday?? Seriously, hope everyones ok, s'just a bit windy here, and if I get flooded, the whole of the east of England is ****ed. Stay safe everyone!
Possibly a superfluous post, but remember your Hull genes and postcodes everyone. It guarantees you immunity from the wobbling and drama queen traits that afflict latitudes south of the Humber.
Looks to me (and I don't want to appear over-confident or arrogant) but I think the flood waters are retreating. Just got a text from my gym saying its closed til further notice...flooded to **** then.
