Livermore wasn't at his recent level and as for Meyler he just jogs around the field like a retired carthorse. He is way too slow for this level of football and most of the time is too lazy to get back to defend when the ball is goal side of him.He should never be in the starting eleven. McGregor Figgy Rosenior
1. Figueroa 2. Bruce 3. Rosenior All the lads worked really hard and I thought Sagbo (and even Graham at times) played pretty well. We were (sorry for the bleeding obvious), overwhelmed by a very slick team.
1. Sagbo 2. Hudd 3. Bruce I thought Sagbo ran his arse off again, he's only going to get better and better, especially after he scores again. Hudd was his usual class, if only that ball through the box had met one of our players...and Bruce was again getting stuck in and made some pretty important tackles. Worst player for me last night was Livermore, he looked like he needed a rest after Sundays shenanigans.
I thought Graham was pathetic. I've stuck up for him all season thus far but I changed last night. I was right in line with him first half and his lack of application was appalling.
Pathetic? Why 'should' they? Our own fans don't even stick together on it. How do you come to the conclusion all fans 'should' stuck together? It's got **** all to do with them, it's something to poke fun at. If what was happening here was happening at another club instead I'd wager my arse to a penny that we'd be lauding it ripping the piss out of the poor bastards. It's pathetic to assume that everyone should be fighting our corner and that no one will poke fun at it.
Oh, please. That's just a bit of harmless banter! How po-faced can you get? At White Hart Lane we sang "You're going to jail/You're going to jail/You sing your nickname, you're going to jail" - I thought it was funny, but I suppose that was pathetic too?
Easy this one. 1) Alan McGregor 2) Maynor Figueroa 3) Alex Bruce (made the tackle of the night 2nd half)
Surprised to see Figueroa picking up so many votes. He made some good tackles and kept the ball fairly well, but he was too often out of position which created a hole on the left flank which Arsenal frequently exploited. I also didn't think Bruce or Chester had particularly great games, Bruce in particular. Chester looked slightly rusty, especially at the start which is understandable as he's just come back from injury, and Bruce struggled for the most part of the night against what was a mesmerising Arsenal attack.
So while they are taking the piss out of us, singing "Tigers" and doing mauled by The Tigers actions, we are busy singing "wise men say etc" followed by "The Tigers". Who has a clue what is going on? 1. Figgy 2. Rosey 3. Livermore Based on having missed the first 20 minutes due to being sat on the M1 and taking 8 hours to get there.
Figueroa seems to get loads of votes on these when he's never really stood out to me. I mean he's solid and everything but not the stand-out player all these votes suggest he is. I didn't see last night so he might have been brilliant but my point is more a general one, not based on last night.
