Given that some clubs have very rich owners and other clubs are just trying to keep up I would suggest that it's madness to try to break even if you get into the Premier League and want to stay there. You have to pump money into the club and only expect to get it back - if at all - when you sell up. If Allam looks like dying and the family don't want to keep financing the club then they well tout the club around to sell it - hopefully to somebody else who is rich but wants to keep the name as Hull City AFC, not move the club out of Hull and not change the colours!
