I don't often use Kleenex. Usually just the bog standard toilet paper. Or if I really wanna spoil myself, I just use one of my gym socks. #justliketherealthing
Scoring 4 at home to Norwich will have absolutely no bearing on where you finish. It''s his goals away from home and in the big games that will make the difference (or not)
Or his 3 goals in our 4-1 win against West Brom. How about his 2 away at Sunderland in our 3-1 win? Or 1 in the 3-3 draw v Everton away?
it's a reality we will have to face with no Cl football unfortunately, but if I was fsg I'd give br a blank cheque in Jan, it's crucial we keep Luis and the only way that will happen is with cl football next season.
I know but doesn't he have three years on his contract still? I agree about signings. Getting top four is crucial to keeping him but then, if he continues to play like this then Real, Barca or Bayern ARE going to come knocking which makes getting CL football irrelevant.
As Spuds are proving, 100mill and losing your best player doesn't really work too well...even if you get good quality players, they need a long time to get playing well together. This is our last season to try get CL with Suarez, or restart next summer without him - which'll be much tougher. Rodgers needs to find some quality players from somewhere in January and FSG need to back him.
It depends though because originally it was the press which is why he wanted to move, then he changed his tune and said it was CL football. If we get CL football then why wouldn't he stay? Yes he could go to a better team but I can't see him enjoying his football anymore than he does at the moment. He's playing for a club he loves, for fans that adore him, he's the main man and is banging in goals for fun. If we can compete for trophies and start to get regular CL qualification then no reason he won't stay.
Not sure Madrid can afford another super signing so soon after Bale, not without selling some decent players
