Green - 8 (one poor throw out that put us under pressure, the rest was excellent)
BAE - 7 (Neat and Tidy maybe could have helped hoilett out a bit more)
Dunne - 8 (Did we really have Anton Ferdinand back there for 2 years!)
Hill - 8 (kept joey on the pitch)
    Simpson - 7.5 (Consistant performer)
Hoilett - 8 (Seems to play better when AJ is on, unluckey not to get another. Good defensive shift too)
O'Neil - 7 (Solid from O'neil, thought he was Kranky for 10 mins)
Carroll - 7 (Did well holding the middle when Joey wet roaming)
Barton - 7.5 (Nearly got sent off for moaning, lost it for about 2 mins, other 91mins were the usual solid commited performance we're used to)
Austin - 8 (Gives it everything every game, is he clint hill in disguise?)
Johnson - 7 (Dropped back to feed Charlie, then missed his chance deserved a goal)

    Subs:
Phillips - 8 (Scored the goal the whole club needed like a shot in the arm. Thanks very much.)
    Jenus - 6
Traore - 6 (how bad must Diakites head be?)

I have to disagree with BAE as I think he is slowly turning into boswanka, I saw him a few times when he did lose the ball just strolling back like he was going to get his morning paper whilst Hoillet was sprinting past him, I hope this is just a blip as he had impressed me up to then.

I noticed that too that he doesn't burst a gut if someone does get by him. A class act though.

BAE is a class player but does appear to be lazy. A bit harsh saying he is turning into Boswanka though!!

Rubbish BAE was class ... never does he not know what he is going to do with the ball ... always the right side and distribution 10 out of 10. Hoilett ran down a few blind alleys at times but they doubled up on him ... BAE was always in support and is clever enough not to overlap at times because Junior cuts inside 7 out of 10. The only player that played a quiet role was O Neil who I can assure people on here did that role very well.

Austin gets an 8 then you need to give AJ one he ran the channels and worked very well.

BAE has a wealth of experience and skill in this league ... if we were ever able to sign him permanently then he will become a QPR legend ... for me our best player over the last six matches

Disagree with hoilett giving him 8, thought he was poor about 6 & that includes the goal, couldn't get past anyone all night & just running into trouble.

Yes and the only time he went round the outside was when he scored. He needs to be a bit less predictable.

Quite a difficult one to pick out a MOM. No real stand out individual, just some good solid performances.

Sorry Beth - can't agree that it was Carroll, he looked a bit indecisive to me and was easily pushed off the ball too often.

AJ played very well and put himself about as did Austin.

Would have like to see both full backs occasionally overlap the winger to give that additional dimension to our play, Simpson did venture further forward than BAE and put in some great crosses.

Barton was reliable in midfield as was O'Neill and I thought Phillips did well when he came on. Traore looked somewhat lost and not really on the same wavelength as others.
If I had to pick out one individual it would probably be Hill (towering, solid performance; only saw him mess up once and then he tried to get back to recover; certainly cut out many balls which otherwise might have let Bournemouth a better sight on goal.

Worst player on the night was probably Jenas - didn't really do anything notable in the short time he was on the pitch, just looked like he was going through the motions a bit.

As well as running round harrying, he played a number of truely exquiste cross pitch/along the line balls
    Incredible

    And he seemed fitter too

You'll see he is about to bloom

On reflection 7 does look a little tight, 7.5 as he missed his best chance.

    Forgot to do a MoM.

Austin - Workrate, application and finding the net.

I think BAE is pure class with his ball skills, but can look a little lazy on his tracking back when he has lost the ball.
Thought Hoilett looked superb when he had the ball but infuriating when he waited to have his shot, a number of times, too late and only when the attacking player was virtually on him.
Can't make my mind up about Carrol. He was there and looked ok but cant quite put my finger on what he did really well. Jury is out on him with me for the time being.

I agree with you on BAE. He is class but as others have said, he was wasn't great when he lost the ball last night.

I thought at times that Carroll looked like a schoolboy playing against men. I know he is a decent player but at times, he is a bit lightweight. His class will make him look a decent player in the Championship but I am not sure if he would be quite ready for the PL.

To me, the jury is out on two of our players both of whom were dropped yesterday for indifferent performances against Doncaster. Phillips and Kranjcar. Phillips came on last night and scored a great goal with his first touches of the ball but otherwise, his performances haven't been great. Kranjcar, I have yet to see him play well for us. I missed the Middlesborough game where he was apparently outstanding. I wonder if Rodney Marsh still thinks he is such a great player?

Let's hope Phillips' goal is just what he needs to push on and become a Rangers great!
