Steve Bruce doesn't seem to be in any hurry to select Gedo does he? Presumably he's fully fit now. He might have got on when Sagbo went off but no it was Graham who replaced him.

I really want to see Gedo and Sagbo up front together. Drop Koren and put Gedo in with him because I can see them complimenting each other in terms of their style of play.

The poor kid must be wondering what he's got to do to get a game, especially when Graham is getting in above him...

Graham is more able to play the lone striker like Sagbo whereas Gedo is just a poacher who needs to play alongside someone else. I also think Bruce never really wanted him.

Bruce has said some very positive things about Gedo in interviews.

Graham may have had his last chance when he was through to make it 4-1 vs Liverpool, but looked sluggish and pulled it wide.

I thought it was Elmo who missed the chance after a great move involving a lovely pass from
Graham? I would love gedo to play with sagbo as well rather than koren tonight, he deserves a chance and will get himself into goal-scoring positions.

It was Elmo. Graham set up the chance with a lovely swept pass to Meyler who placed it perfectly for Elmo. I thought Graham did well in the two minutes he had.

    When did that happen?

I can't recall seeing Graham doing that.

He didn't it was Elmo. Graham was a part of the lovely passing move that left Elmo bearing down on goal, and he should have buried it!

Gedo is a classic finisher , he's got the pace needed and an absolute fine header , he can make a difference , I'd like to see him playing along side Sagbo .

Personally I'd drop Koren for Boyd. Gedo was a pointless signing tbh. Was never gonna be the answer for surviving life in the prem

Before his injury Gedo had pace power directness and inventiveness.I thought that combo would be worth seeing at this level.I also think Fryatt might surprise a few if given a chance in a style different to the one when he last played before injury. We will have to pay an awful lot of money to buy a proven Prem striker. If we have 24 points at year end I would be tempted to shuffle our own pack unless major injuries occur.Unless we can push the boat out for a "Huddlestone" quality player .Fiddling with 1 mill signings seem a waste of time-occasional gems but usually do not make the grade
