Totally see your point as well, but what's the chances of finding another Sagbo? Look at big Nick P, never really found his feet, unfortunately. Which is why I think we should be proven PL there's too much risk involved in not given it's January and we need maybe just one quality signing. It's a tough one.
Adriano is a free agent, 27 in 48 for Brasil ... Obviously no chance of this, just found it interesting what an inconsistent a career he's had and how he can't even get a club now.
Either way I am sure Bruce will pull a rabbit from the hat. Although if the Allam's are now going to involve themselves in negotiations, I can see no signings. They don't know how it works, and they'll simply over complicate proceedings, or try to move the goal posts on deals, like the Long transfer saga.
Changed that for you. Just how unfit can a player get? Time for him to shine or be dim somewhere else.
I think a lot depends on if we can finally shift that big German prossie. He's been dumped right at the bottom of the pile now, he's never going to make it.
The Premier League is too pacey for Koren. He also likes to back out of challenges too often, he just doesn't get his foot in there. He's a bench player at most at the moment. I don't know how Gedo hasn't got a start alongside Sagbo upfront yet. I think playing off each other would be a success because you can tell Sagbo's the off-the-shoulder-of-the-defender sort of striker and Gedo's a pure goal poacher, so surely they would compliment each other. I think we're still going to go in for Long, I'd like to see us really push the boat out and go for someone who is guaranteed to bang in some goals when needed (i.e. Jermain Defoe).
