He's confident of Chester being up to playing, McShane's had a run-out this morning and may be available, no other new injuries. He's bored with talking about the name change. That's about it.
I think he said he was back in the squad, but I can't remember exactly and I can't be arsed to listen again.
No probs, just wondered if it was likely he'd be on the bench or in the first 11. I can listen when Im home.
Steve Bruce is fantastic! He's got his head screwed on, Let's hope his cup of tea with Allam goes well, The fact Steve hasn't been immediately called to a meeting after speaking to the press about the name change is probably a good sign in the avoiding a Barmby situation respect. It's going to be an interesting few weeks up to The January transfer window on and off the pitch thats for sure!
If Bruce is to leave City for anywhere, it's more likely to replace Kofi Annan than some **** manager elsewhere. The voice of reason.
I don't think there's much chance of a Barmby situation between Allam and SB. There's clearly a lot of mutual respect between them and Bruce is pretty glowing about him in this interview.
Interesting that Bruce said they would be looking at McShane this morning with a view to the Arsenal game. Anybody heard anything?
How lucky are we to have Bruce? Excellent words delivered with sincerity, let's hope he can work the same magic with the off field distraction that he's done on the pitch.
