So now you are deleting posts that YOU define as not a "useful contribution" are you? Are you just picking on certain individuals for this or are you going to delete or move all posts that you define as not "useful contributions"?

The board doesn't run at all as long as you stop people from expressing their opinion. Let this board alone. Let people talk instead of arbitrarily deleting what YOU regard as useful, interesting, boring, tedious or anything else.

DMD, I'm not questioning whether you are right or wrong in this instance. But you claim many people have asked the board to be monitored this way, by keeping the "boring" and "not needed" comments from clogging up the threads. The people who aren't too fussed with the name change see most of the threads we have on the board as "boring" and "not needed", yet these threads stay? I lose count of the number of similar threads we have about the name change a day. Generally they are created by the same poster and they could easily just fit into another thread. Why don't you take similar action against these threads?

Had you had sense and maturity enough to ignore posts you reckon are boring, and had you been right about everyone else feeling the same way, that one post thread would have slid down the board to obscurity.

Instead, because of your tantrum, we have two threads. <doh>

I don't know what happened to you on CI, but you need to get over it because you're making a fool of yourself and boring people in the process.

Oh and NO posts are deleted. People have got FULL oportunity to have their say. I even set up threads for them to do it without messing someone elses thread.

Lewis, I'm out and on my phone so it's a short answer, but it's actually answered in the thread. If a thread iscstarted on an existing topic, we try to merge. But if others have already replied, merging disrupts two threads.
I'm not about to just delete threads or replies, but sometimes they need to be removed to be merged, other times they're just needlesly disruptive.

There's no mystery or hidden agenda. Common sense points to gbd needless replies.

Twisting the truth and name-calling is really a talent of your's isn't it?

The so called tantrum has nothing to do with the OP it's to do with you deleting posts. If you hadn't done that, none of the rest of it would have happened.

    Again, stop lying.

As for CI, the only thing that happened to me was I grew bored of it's banality, something that your abuse and bias is turning this board into.

They moderate in their own time, for free. They do by and large an excellent job. You just come across as a right whinging ****ing twat - never happy unless you're moaning about one thing or another.

It can't be an easy job having to moderate some of the ****e on here. Most of it from South Manchester.

There are no responsibilities that go with free speech. Free speech is, literally, free.

"I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".

If what's allowed to be said is regulated, implying the responsibilities you mention, it stops being democratic and becomes totalitarian, so it isn't free speech at all.

    Do you reckon?

You genuinely believe you're free to state publicly anything at all, without having to provide evidence to back it up, and risk no repurcations, legally or otherwise?

Taking over a thread which is calling for them to respond to?

Oh, was the other option from your notepad to copy/paste from:

I see the pro name change minority are absent from another thread with their desperate and inadequate arguments.

    ?

Or are you just trolling as usual?

I'm surprised you don't yet realise, that like your avatar, those of us on the side of Dr Allam don't need made up numbers for minority or majority, because like your avatar, the Doctor is in charge, and he isn't for turning. Must cause you some internal confusion that. He's everything your idol was and more, allegedly.

    ICE HOCKEY

Everyone likes a teddy bear don't they? Well ice hockey fans in Calgary certainly seem to anyway.

A goal for the Calgary Hitmen against the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Canadian Western Hockey League was celebrated by 26,000 teddy bears being thrown onto the ice.

Pavel Padakin's goal triggered the celebrations in the 19th annual Teddy Bear Toss Game between the two sides. Each year fans bring stuffed animals to the game to throw onto the ice when the Hitmen score their first goal. All of the toys are then donated to local charities.

I think you don't realise that he needs the FA's approval to change the name. Good luck with that!
