The next one will be the thirtieth of my footballing life. Sixty four seasons so a new one every couple of years.
Brings a whole new meaning to "manager of the month" and I never realised they were referring to our manager this month. lol.
Ignoring the fact that Bob Wright was manager when I saw my first City game in April 1950 because he was replaced in the summer of 1950 by Pat Beasley, during the next thirty years there were only four City managers. Oh for a return to those days when managers not only got time to build but also won enough games per season to ensure their own job security.
Ain't that a bit contradicting saying we wish for managers to stay at a club for longer, when a big majority of fans wanted. Keith Millen gone Del McInnes gone SoD gone So just the past three managers who only had the best part of a year or so in charge, the fans wanted shot off then in the next breath say they want managers to be given time Perhaps the difference back in the early days was, without social media and Internet forums, people just put up with the managers in charge? I've stated on here yesterday SC has not even got the job a huge majority want him sacked already! Saying that we will play this way and even lose the academy etc. And nothing concrete has come from the club apart from twitter rumours and forum rumours that he even has the job. In Banksy's words unbelievable It's simple really folks, if you want the olden days where managers were given time, do that and give him time before complaining on social media sites that you want him gone. Because believe it or not like most company's in the world today, they have staff who police these sites to get feed backs on general consensus.
I see the little blue posers are wumming us about our managers, don't they know that's why we put this list and thread up, to inform every one and help the poor little transients.. I even tried to give them a lead in with 5 managers in the year 2000 and they haven't even spotted it,perhaps this will help the delicate ones with their verbal stupidity..
"dont they know thats why we put the list and thread up here".... umm, we dont go straight on your board wizerina to see what you have done for us! to be honest, i wish i did. then i wouldnt have wasted 10 mins reading wiki to look up the dates of all NINE managers in charge in the last 3 years at your club! think keith curle was a better option than cotterill.
