must admit i was fearing the worst!! and i must admit i was quite impressed by the come back. very good performance and showed character that a few of us have been worried about
The first time we've been outplayed and looked ineffective this season was in the 2nd half today. At Arsenal, we were sort of competent but weren't great. The title's between Chelsea and Arsenal, and possibly Man City and feel that Chelsea will win providing your defence sharpens up a little, as well as the Chelsea squad having good depth. Interesting to see that Mata and Ba, two of your better players from last season who haven't had much of a look in this season, put in good performances today.
I'd like to say that I had apprehension about our fortunes today. It was a big worry when we gifted you the opener, simply because your lot have sparkled so far this season and I didn't think we had the necessary to get back at you in the right way. As usual the lads confounded me by moving into top gear in the second half and putting us where we need to be! Its great to have ended up with the points, but let me say the Saints are the new kids on the block and you well deserve to be there! You will be in Europe next year, God willing!
He`s just not very good at it, he should at least wait until a player gets near him and then he may fool some ref or other.
tbh he didn't even appeal, he just got up and got on with it!! unlike certain team's players Oliver was over zealous there.
I did notice that and wondered why, maybe he thought if he left it to the ref to decide it would look genuin.

Agree with "winners" comments Jose -have been impressed by the Saints outstanding performances this season away at Liverpool & Man U; they have proven quality and are a vast improvement on some of the motley crew who've come up from the championship in recent years.

he tried to rectify his mistake by trying to cheat with a dive which fortunately the ref spotted. Jose should really be ashamed to get his players to dive to get a free kick in a dangerous position...
