It had to happen - we have a new Number One. Congrats Bucks on toppling long time leader Brough The only other change is newcomer Bluesky relegating Ron back to 18th again. Chan blew Oddy's challenge out of the water with his 20-1 ew winner. I'm giving new numero uno Bucks a free ride next week, so the first challenge will be Red on Brough, and so on down to 15th place. In a slight change, and to allow for different challengers from THIS week, the bottom three will play in a mini league amongst themselves. The highest result will be placed 16th, next 17th and 18th for the loser. If tied, positions will remain unaltered. The following week, Bucks will be back in again, and everyone will be either a challenger or a defender, as per usual. If I hadn't done this pretty much all challengers would have been the same as this week. 1. Bucks 2. Brough Tiger 3. Redcgull C 4. Reebok 5. Chaninbar C 6. Oddy 7. Stick C 8. Uncle Cracker 9. Smokethedeadbadger C 10. Havinacow 11. Steveo77 C 12. Sir Percy 13. Wooly C 14. Cityhull 15. Boston Bob C 16. Mwildcats 17. Bluesky 18. Ron As to next week's race - I'm going to hold fire on that for a short while. I'd like it to be the Sportingbet Handicap Hurdle at Sandown, but haven't been able to find any advance entries for it. The alternative would be either the Grand Sefton or Becher Chases, both highly competitive handicap lotteries. If anyone has any views or preferences, speak up. No NOT the Tingle Creek! And Chan ....... take it easy next week - no need for humiliation, eh?
TOP OF THE LEAGUE Will go and put my feet up this weekend while the people below battle it out to have a chance to topple the CHAMPION
my track record of backing up winners with another success should make you a 1/16 shot for next week Reebs
Pfft not surprised i lost. Probably my worst ever day betting on horses yesterday! Couldnt pick my nose!
Ok chaps - decision made - week 5's challenge race will be the Henry VIII Novice Chase, the 13-50 from Sandown. It's a tricky puzzle to solve, but not quite the lottery of the big handicaps in weeks 2, 3 and 4. Get your thinking caps on, and give the defenders hell. Red, you challenge the now deposed, non-nose picking Brough, and new number one Bucks gets to laugh at the rest of us from his lofty position! There will be a new thread tomorrow to post selections on
I'll be on Grandouet in our 3 way relegation battle. Don't know prices yet but will post win or ew on the proper thread when available
